Revisiting the Metropolitan Museum of Manila
“Art speaks where words are unable to explain.” – Threadless Artist Mathiole
Museums are the perfect venue to fuel your creativity and ignite your imagination. It lets you understand our past culture and feel inspired with the new and Metropolitan Museum of Manila lets you experience just that. It has an extensive collection of Filipino paintings, some of which dates back to the early 1800’s and also a showcase of to the latest in contemporary art.
During the recent years, there has been a growth in the interest of visiting museums and anything related to art appreciation. Let’s admit it, some of us were only able to visit museums in the past because it was part of our education field trips. I am not that well-versed in art but through visiting museums, we get an insight of our diverse culture and rich heritage. Most of all, we get to see how talented Filipino Artists are.
If you want to get thorough information about the ongoing art exhibitions, you can avail for their Guided Tours at P500 for groups of less than 50 persons.
